Let the Games Begin!

The feeders have been filled and the birds are happy.  My cats believe, however, that I was merely setting traps.

Let the games begin!

    Cats are so smart! ;-)

Hmmm…this is a toss-up for me. I’m terrified of cats, but I really don’t like birds. I think I want the birds to lose. Cats don’t poop on my car.

My parents have one of those feeders with the spinning bottoms to keep squirrels away. Well, a cat jumped on it trying to catch a bird, and it got launched (not hurt)! The cat stayed away from it after that though.

That is an awesome picture, it needs a caption though… :)

Normally, I would agree with you.  This one, however, seems to have missed the lesson on proper ambush technique.

Unless, of course, your kids lock one in the van overnight…..this has happened to me.  It wasn’t pretty!

I would have loved to have seen that.  These are supposed to be squirrel proof.  Ha!  The squirrels are just as happy as the birds and the cats.

You’re absolutely right.  I was in a hurry and didn’t take the time.  Off the cuff I’m thinking….

“Here, birdy birdy birdy!”  or “Pay no attention to that cat in the tree!”

The thing that really gets me about that cat is he’s totally feral.  I provide food, water, filled bird feeders and all I get in return is hissing and running like mad every time I walk out of the house.  Damn cat!

I’m not a cat fan but you have to admit those animals are pretty genius! Just no pics of dead birds okay?
