This happened to me as well, but I ended up having an emergency c-section and it was very scary. It was also 10 weeks too soon. All turned out okay though.

You have a beautiful daughter, and I’m glad all turned out okay for you too.

What an amazing story, her being delivered so early and such. You and your wife sound like such laid back, cool people to go with the flow like that. I think I would have chosen Plan A, just to give myself a second to prepare mentally.

How sweet is that?! She is so beautiful! I just love those curls. I had this idea that my own daughter would be born with curls like that, what with my own head full of natural curls with which I have fought my entire life. I actually felt sorry for her even before she was born, that she would have a life full of fighting her curls, especially during those hard puberty years. And lo! Not only does she not have a head full of curls (and I secretly with she did), but her hair is this mysterious blond color despite both her parents’ hair both being nearly black as a raven.

Anyway, happy birthday to your little curly-headed princess!
