Fortunately, there were no other patients to be seen at the time so we got right in. I can say that I’ll enjoy settling her bill much more so than I would had I visited one of her colleagues.

I wish I was able to get some of the stitches I got in my youth Amish style. Unfortunately, I got hundreds of stitches at the hospital and the doctors/nurses knew me and my parents by first name. Sounds like Zia was a touch cookie though – hope she feels better!

She really bite a bullet and went with no numbing agent?? Damn! I have a stitch that came loose from my recent surgery and there’s NO WAY I’d have my doc friend restitch me with no local. I actually considered it today! Y’all are HARD CORE! Impressive!

We had plenty of suture and lidocaine left over and discussed giving Zane a few stitches just so he would know what it felt like. Seemed like such a waste to throw it all out.
