The place where we got our tree neglected to give us a fresh cut and the poor thing never drank water. It was completely dry! And how does a person manage to get 80 strings of lights on a tree that size? Did I miss the pics of all those lights, or did you neglect to post one? Because I'd sure like to see a "before" and "after" of that sad tree! The last time I butchered a Christmas tree like that in my living room, the carpet was forever sticky with sap.
